Decided to get my butt up GMR before the rains come back tomorrow. Was expecting lousy conditions from the rain all last week, but except for some small rocks and dirt in places, it wasn't bad. Met a guy from Glendora on top, we talked about mountains, hiking, and climbing. That was nice change from bikes and rides , which is the usual topic up there. He had done Whitney as a day hike in September and seemed proud of that accomplishment. Ride down was cold but not bad. Had plenty along to keep me warm. Pics of Crystal Lake area and Baldy.
