September 15, 2010 GMR in the dark

Got a late start, forgetting both my camera and water bottle. It was nice and warm on the way up, not many cars, but lots of people on bikes coming down. Due to the late start, I was not passed by anyone heading up. Got to the top just as total darkness hit, and rode down in it. Just below the halfway saddle, coming around a corner, I almost had a head on with a coyote having his hill on some roadkill. Damn that was close. Great ride with awesome views.
